Through sport, Te Rongo Mauri Ki Tawhiti creates pathways for our rangatahi to reconnect with their whakapapa by representing our roopu at the Aotearoa Māori Rugby League Tournament. This experience is far more than competition. It is a journey of identity, belonging, and pride in being Māori.

Alongside rugby league, our rangatahi are immersed in cultural experiences that strengthen connection to tikanga, whakapapa, and self. These opportunities support our young people in their journey of self-discovery, confidence building, and cultural grounding.

While this kaupapa is deeply meaningful, it also comes with significant financial costs for whānau. Through engaging in our services and supporting our initiatives, you directly help make these experiences accessible, allowing our rangatahi to continue their journey home to Aotearoa.
